Ocean Village Two - Maiden Voyage 25th April

Instead of the usual black tie and tiara festivities that normally accompany a ship naming, Ocean Village Two’s celebrations had a specially invited crowd of celebrity friends enjoying an evening of full-on entertainment including stand up comedy and the premiere of a brand new dance show as well as performances from 1980s disco divas Jaki Graham and Angie Brown. The festivities culminated in a dramatic ceremony on Tuesday 24 April which saw Jodie and Jemma officially name Ocean Village’s sister ship as Ocean Village Two.

After the naming, Ocean Village Two embarked on its maiden voyage from Southampton on 25 April 2007, sailing to Gibraltar, Cartagena (Spain) and Barcelona before arriving in Palma, Majorca. For the rest of the summer season Ocean Village Two will be based in Palma offering 7 night and 14 night Western Mediterranean itineraries from as little as £549, calling at Tunis, Naples, Florence, Corsica, Monte Carlo, Genoa, St Raphael, Rome and Barcelona. 14 night Stay and Cruise options, combining week’s hotel stay in Palma with a second week’s cruise, are available from £699.  

The original Ocean Village ship will sail in the Eastern Mediterranean for the first time this summer with the ship based in Crete and offering 7 night and 14 night Greek island-hopping cruises which also visit Croatia and Turkey, plus Stay and Cruise options
